Career Planning with Swedish Match
During February, Swedish Match’s Retail Club carried out the career planning module, focusing on practical job application experience.
First, each second-year student was tasked with applying for a fictional job, by submitting their CV and cover letter. Then, they all got to meet individually with Christine Ungfeldt (HR associate at Swedish Match) for a job interview, where they were asked typical questions that the company usually asks, and received feedback on their application.
After the interviews, all students met again with Christine Ungfeldt, this time in a group session. During this activity, she described Swedish Match’s recruitment process and provided general tips for the students of what to think of when applying for a job. There was also room for reflection and discussion, where Christine Ungfeldt answered questions from the students.
