COOP’s Retail Club had a workshop about sustainability.

Cajsa Olsson, responsible for market planning at COOP, held a presentation about COOP's and their biggest rivals' work with sustainability and what challenges COOP is facing today. Then she asked the students to come up with ideas on what COOP’s next action should be in sustainability and how it should be implemented. The target group was millennials, that is people between 18 and 34 years old. Some of the suggestions presented by the students were a pop-up restaurant with wasted food, a spin-off on the popular 4 for 80 but for friends instead of families and a manned department with vegetarian pre-cooked food in every store.
