Cross-Cultural mANAGEMENT WITH cOCA-cOLA
For this theme lecture, Retail Management students had the great pleasure of listening to Samantha Walker, a marketing director at CCEP. Samantha has a lot of experience with the company after a total of twenty years within the brand. Through out the years she’s been involved with a serious of different positions which made her the perfect speaker for this topic.
Samantha talked about her experience with cultural changes in a forever changing industry. With these changes, Samantha had to adapt her leadership skills and gave us some notes to take with us. She introduced us to several important things to think about regarding consumers in different markets as well. She gave her own insights on what it was like moving from the UK market to the Swedish market where both work ethics and consumer behavior are slightly different. Her key point brought the students to a lot of laughter and excitement.
