Managing synergy realisation in mergers and acquisitions
This PhD project aims at developing theories on how synergy realisation processes are managed. Failed value creation in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) is often ascribed to failure to manage the integration process and to take advantage of synergy potential.
The project started in 2001 and is ending in 2008.
The project is financed by Stockholm School of Economics, IMIT and Handelsbanken.
