SSE Alumni Event: Trial and Error in Swedish School Policy
There is a great deal of discussion among scholars, educators and politicians about the current Swedish school system. Karin Grundberg Wolodarski, SSE alum and journalist at Di, discussed how the Swedish school became one of the world’s most deregulated in her new book Experimentet. According to the book, the openness to profit schools has made the Swedish school system unique in the world. What led to the school market today? How has it affected teachers, students and school leaders?
SSE Alumni Office invites you to a fireside chat with Karin Grundberg Wolodarski, who will sit down with Karl Wennberg, SSE Professor, and Magnus Henrekson, Professor at IFN, to discuss what the Swedish school market looks like today and some of the system's advantages and disadvantages. The discussion will be moderated by Bo Becker, Cevian Capital Professor of Finance at SSE.
Light breakfast will be provided.
