I am a PhD candidate in Business Administration (exp. June 2023) appointed at the Center for Responsible Leadership (CRL) and, currently, visiting researcher at the Department of Organization at Copenhagen Business School (CBS).
In my dissertation, I conducted a 18-month ethnography to study how domination emerges in an inclusive organization. Using a labor inclusion program targeting skilled migrants, I investigate how migrants and managers actively negotiate the terms of inclusion. My research project analyzes two issues: a) the structural barriers faced by skilled migrants amidst organizational efforts to include, and b) managers ability to construct inclusive narratives for an increasingly diverse workforce.
Topics in which I supervise Master theses include diversity, migration, and political dynamics in organizations. I can also provide support in theses using critical social science theories and methods (i.e., drawing from sociology, anthropology, political science).
I hold an MPhil in public policy (Central European University, Budapest), MA in political science, and a BA in sociology. I have also collected research experience at UNICEF and the World Health Organization (WHO). I have a dual Peruvian and Spanish citizenship.
