Peter is a PhD researcher on new product development and innovation management strategies at the Department of Management and Organization and the European Institute of Japanese Studies at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE). His research focuses on innovation capability and performance of Swedish and Japanese technology-intensive startups and mature companies.
Prior to his PhD studies, Peter spent 10 years in the private sector, most recently in business development and operations management executive capacities at a German multinational technical service provider and as sales and marketing operations director at an R&D 100 award-winning biotech company.
Peter holds a B.A. in Economics and an M.E. in Environmental Engineering, both from Osaka University. Having lived in Japan for 10 years and being fluent in Japanese, he often consults established and startup companies entering the Japanese market.
