Serafim Agrogiannis holds a B.Sc. in Supply Chain Management, an MBA with specialization in Accounting and Auditing and a M.Sc. in Project Management and Operational Development. His research interests relate to strategic corporate responsibility and sustainable supply chain management. During the last years, he has also developed a strong concern for low-carbon management and how it can potentially spur innovation. His priority revolves around coupling academic research with a strong practice oriented approach. He has been a visiting lecturer in the Master of General Management Program in CSR and Sustainable Supply Chain Management. Prior to joining SSE, Serafim was engaged in both the public and private sectors. He has 11 years of working experience in the business areas of internal/external auditing in supply chain management and purchasing where he also engaged with the diffusion of sustainability issues on organizational and buyer-supplier relationships levels. He also participated in developing and institutionalizing sustainability criteria for public procurement on respective product categories. His current inquiry revolves around sustainable purchasing and supply chain management.
