I have been a financial analyst since the middle of the eighties. I do research for the Stockholm Exchange on accounting problems (IFRS) in Swedish listed companies. I analyse around 200 quarterly reports each quarter. The analysis is both from an accounting perspective and from a general investment perspective. Each quarter I also do analysis on earnings trends and analysts earnings estimates on 150 Nordic companies. The findings I present in two monthly investors magazine, Privata Affärer Placeringsguiden and Aktiespararen.
During the eighties I worked with corporate finance in a government owned bank, Sveriges Investeringsbank and a midsized broker, Stockholm Fondkommission. In the beginning of the nineties I worked as a journalist at Svenska Dagbladet and for the last 12 years I have worked for two brokers/banks, Aragon Securities and Nordnet Bank. I have been head of equity research and head of investment management in those companies, parallel to being an equity strategist.
I have been a visiting teacher in accounting and financial analysis at the Stockholm University Business Administration since the beginning of the eighties and from 2003 I have the same position at the Stockholm School of Economics.
