In April 2014 Svenne Junker defended his thesis on decision-making in EU-agencies. Based on the research he was awarded the Jan Wallander scholarship for three years full-time studies.
His current research is focused on the work of aligning policies for a low-carbon economy in core executives of states and in transnational organizations such as EU and OECD. He plans to conduct empirical studies of policy work at OECD in Paris during 2016.
Further he is involved in a study of medialization in large public companies in Sweden together with Associate Professor Maria Grafström and Dr. Karolina Windell. This project is funded by Handelsbanken and located at Stockholm Centre for Organizational Research, Score.
Recurrently he lectures in EU policy-making and public administration within master’s program in Political Science at Stockholm University and Södertörn University. He formerly worked 7 years as policy officer and EU expert at Swedish Society for Nature Conservation (Naturskyddsföreningen).
