Due to the COVID-19 pandemic there is an acute shortage of protective equipment in the Swedish health care and elderly care sectors.
This shortage of protective equipment pose serious risk to the health and lives of patients, elderly, and health care personnel. Concurrently, many companies are eager to support society in these hard times, but lack the means to do so.
Our project therefore aims at providing these companies with the opportunity to support the health- and elderly care sectors with protective equipment. Among the most critical protective equipment for these sectors to receive at this point are facial masks. We have therefore established contact with a reliable and experienced producer of particulate respirators, and have ensured the quality of the products by importing a batch. We therefore offer companies the possibility to donate optional amounts of these high-quality facial masks, at cost price, to the health care and elderly care sectors. Quantities of up to 500 000 units can be delivered within two weeks.
The particulate respirators that we provide filter ≥ 94 % of all airborne particles. They are FFP2-certified and therefore qualify the standard recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) for health care workers who work with COVID-19 infected patients. The particulate respirators are also CE-marked, which is a requirement for the usage of protective equipment within the EU.
With this initiative we hope to help companies to support society during the COVID-19 pandemic.
