Connectiative is an initiative that promotes and encourages collaboration between local meeting points for seniors and Swedish for Immigrants (SFI) schools in Swedish municipalities.

The initiative’s purpose is to connect the two groups through social meetings where different activities are carried out to contribute to the needs of both groups. The participants are given the opportunity to interact in an exchange of knowledge and experience as well as language and culture, which enhances integration into society and reduces loneliness. Connectiative is presented in a report that gives the reader an overall picture of the current situation and presents a suggestion to how municipalities can expand their work in order to reduce loneliness and problems related to integration. The specific United Nations Sustainable Development Goals that this initiative is linked to are, goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being, goal 10: Reduced Inequality and goal 17: Partnership for the Goals.
