Here you will find practical and useful information about the day.
Those eligible for graduation are students who have completed the program, i.e., those who have earned the necessary credits.
If you know that your name may be difficult to pronounce, please send an email firstname.lastname@example.org and clarify the correct pronounciation.
For graduates attending the ceremony only, the dress code is dark suit, and for guests attending the ceremony the dresscode is business casual.
For graduates and guests attending the banquet, the dress code is tails with white vest and white tie or a full-length dress.
There will be no time for change of clothes so these dress codes apply from the start if you are a graduate.
Dress suits may be rented from:

Confirmation and entrance cards
In the beginning of April, confirmation will be sent out by post to attending graduates as well as entrance cards for any guests. Entrance cards must be presented by the guests upon arrival to the City Hall.
Rehearsal for the ceremony
All graduates (only graduates) that have confirmed their attendance gather at 14.30 in the Blue Hall at Stockholm City Hall, where you will rehearse the diploma ceremony and line up in procession. Doors will open at 14.15. Please note that it is most important to be on time.
As there will be no time to change clothes, please make sure to be dressed up for the ceremony and banquet upon arrival.
For those who wish to attend the ceremony, the RSVP-form must be filled out by Sunday, March 23, 2018.
For those of you who cannot participate on the ceremony on April 14, please fill in the RSVP-form and state how you would like your diploma to be handled accordingly.
Please note also that if you have applied for your degree, but are unable to attend the graduation ceremony for any reason, you cannot choose to attend at a later occasion.
The graduation ceremony is free of charge.
Guests at the ceremony
There is a strict limit of the number of guests in the Blue Hall that needs to be followed. Due to the high number of graduates we have to restrict the number of guests to two for each graduate. (In case of availability, you may be able to bring an additional guest. You will be notified in the beginning of April, when you receive the entrance cards for your guests.)
Guests attending the ceremony are welcome at 16.15 when the entrance will open. Seating is free and seats must be taken by 16.50. Entrance cards must be presented by the guests upon arrival.
The banquet takes place in the Golden Hall in City Hall, where a three-course meal with wine will be served, along with entertainment. After the banquet, live music begins in the Blue Hall, where coffee is served and a bar opens (drinks at your own expense). The banquet is estimated to start at 19.30 and finish at about 22.15.
For those who wish to attend the banquet, fill out the RSVP-form on the link you have been provided with in your invitation in order to secure your seat/s. Graduates have the possibility to invite one guest to the banquet.
The cost is SEK 1690 per person, and payment is done through the same RSVP-form. The payment is binding and repayment cannot be done for cancellation after April 2, 2018.
Please note that no entrance cards will be sent out for the banquet.
Seating arrangements at the banquet
You have the possibility to send us your seating preferences through a seating-map, where you “place” yourself and your friends around the table holding up to 20 people. If you are responsible among your friends for the seating arrangements; please make sure to communicate with them, to ensure that no one appears on several seatings. Create your seating map here before April 8.
Please contact email@example.com if you have any questions.
The ceremony and banquet will be documented by SSE’s photographer. Please find information how to order the photographs here.
If you do not wish to be caught on photo, please notify us via email firstname.lastname@example.org, and make yourself known at the occasion.
Best regards and welcome,
