MISUM (The Mistra Center for Sustainable Markets) is a cross-disciplinary research center at SSE with a focus on sustainable socioeconomic development, sustainable products and consumption and sustainable finance.
The MISUM research draws on actors from academia and business to understand and create research-based and business relevant solutions for sustainable markets.
Two Visiting Professors at MISUM have recently co-authored and edited new books. Andreas Rasche, Visiting Professor from Copenhagen Business School, has co-written Corporate social responsibility: strategy, communication, governance.
About the book:
"This upper-level textbook offers an original and up-to-date introduction to issues in corporate social responsibility from a global perspective. Written by an international team of experts, it guides students through key themes in CSR including strategy, communication, regulation and governance."
Ranjula Bali Swan, Visiting Professor from Södertörn University, also at MISUM, has edited and co-written Environmental challenges in the Baltic Region: a perspective from economics.
About the book:
"This book explores environmental challenges in the Baltic region from an economic perspective. Featuring contributions from regional experts from Nordic, Baltic and Eastern European countries it addresses the response to eutrophication caused by increased loads of nutrients to the sea from agriculture, wastewater, industry and traffic, and cost-effective solutions to reach the Baltic Sea Action Plan targets, set up through the Helsinki Commission".
