Resource platforms
Major publishers and organizations have created digital platforms with authoritative and relevant news, data and research about the coronavirus (COVID-19). The platforms are continuously updated and extended, please visit the publisher’s homepage for more information.
The aim of the COVID-19 Data Portal is to facilitate data sharing and analysis, and to accelerate coronavirus research. The portal is set up by the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI).
EBSCO Resource Center includes statistics and links to relevant resoruces.
Elsevier has created a range of free resources, including textbooks, evidence-based clinical guidance, and more than 20,000 research articles to read, download and data mine.
The platform contains a research collection of journal articles, preprints, conference proceedings, dissertations and more related to COVID-19 and other coronaviruses and past pandemics.
Newspapers and magazines
SSE subscribes to a lot of magazines and newspapers with emphasis on business and economics. SSE students and staff have access to most of them through our library catalogue MerQuery. Many of these magazines and newspapers are great sources for staying updated on Covid-19 and how it is affecting the world economy.
Financial Times
All SSE students and staff have full and unlimited access to ft.com.
The subscription is not set up with IP access, which means you’ll have to sign in to get access to ft.com. You will need your hhs email address to do this. Phd students must use their phdstudent.hhs.se address for access.
The first time you log in, you will be prompted to create an account and a password. You don’t need to remember this password – all access will be via SSE credentials.

You will access other magazines and newspapers SSE subscribes to through the library catalogue MerQuery. Just follow the instructions on how to access resources off campus. It is not possible to access those resources directly on the newspapers’ websites, you have to go through MerQuery.
The Economist
Weekly newspaper with access through MerQuery. Use your SSE credentials when signing in.
Retriever Research
Retriever Research is a digital news archive containing Swedish newspapers and magazines in full text. In this database you will find most Swedish newspapers. Access through MerQuery.
