Book a Librarian

Do you need help with formulating search queries and choosing relevant databases?
Are you having trouble finding material related to your research subject? 

If the answer is yes, you should book a librarian!

This service is an one-to-one hands-on appointment with a librarian allows you to discuss any aspect of your information needs like which databases to use, how to search using boolean commands, how to find relevant material for your thesis etc. This can be especially useful before you start writing your batchlor/master thesis or while you are working on the literature review.

You can book an appointment for yourself, in pairs or as a group, the session is usually 60 minutes depending on how many you are and what you want to discuss. The service is for SSE students and staff only.

How to make an appointment

Send an email to library@hhs.se in order to book an appointment.

Write your name, course/programme you are enrolled in and what project/assignment/thesis you're working on. Include what you need help with and feel free to add any additional information that you think can be helpful to the librarian to know in advance of the meeting.

Last but not least, suggest a suitable day and time and if you want a physical or zoom meeting.
