What are the library's opening hours?

Monday - Friday: 10.00 - 16.00.

Extended opening hours: 9.00 - 10.00 and 16.00 - 21.00. (SSE access card required).

Saturday - Sunday: Closed.

What is extended opening hours?

During the extended hours, 9.00-10.00 and 16.00-21.00, the library is only open for SSE students, faculty and staff with an access card.

During these hours there will be no staff in the library, but you can use it for silent, individual studies, and also borrow and return books using our self check out machines. You need your access card to enter the library before 10.00 and after 16.00.

Since there will be no librarians around, we will not be able to give you support, but there are guides on our website that can help you.

How do I return my books when the library is closed?

SSE students and staff can return books in the book drop outside the library entrance whenever the school is open for those with an access card. 

External patrons can't return books outside the library's opening hours.

Where is the library located?

SSE Library is located on floor 5 of the main SSE building at Sveavägen 65. External visitors must enter through the entrance at Bertil Ohlins Gata 5.
