1. Why did you choose SSE?
My main reason for applying was the International Business and CEMS MIM program, and its unique course structure offered specifically at this school. On top of that, SSE is internationally reputable for its quality education, opening up a global platform of career prospects. The school is well known for providing its students with a plethora of opportunities, be it social, academic or professional, both during and after your studies. For example, you can find yourself travelling abroad with your course, or working in close collaboration with one of its many corporate partners (there are over 100!).
2. What is it like to study in Stockholm?
I love the city – it’s definitely somewhere I can imagine living in the future. It is surprisingly student-friendly, with convenient transportation and student deals all over town. The city itself is stunning, and offers a wide range of activities for people of all interests. You’ll find a variety of cuisine (currently working on my list, let me know if you need it), shopping (working on that list too), museums, and the list goes on. Most importantly, the people and culture is what really made my experience here so positive.
3. What tips do you have for prospective students?
If possible, come visit the school! My campus visit as a prospective student made me realize what an important role the environment plays in determining whether a school is right for you. My impression of SSE made a huge impact on my decision to attend this year – from the architecture and facilities, to the atmosphere and people, everything about the school made me want to come back. And, might I add, many of my coursemates felt the same way! I would definitely recommend you to take a trip down if you can. If not, contact me and I’d love to give you some more insight on student life here!
