1. Why did you choose SSE and your specific program?
I had my first international experience when I went to Australia during my fourth year of High School: this journey opened a whole new world to me. Having relationships with students from other countries has enriched my life more than I ever thought it would and I have always liked the idea to work for an international company. This is the main reason why I chose to study International Business.
I applied to SSE because this school had a great program with many interesting courses and also offered me the opportunity to take part in the CEMS program. However, I chose SSE because since the first time I stepped into this school I felt welcomed and part of a community made by students, faculty, alumni and corporate partners.
2. Why would you encourage others to apply to SSE?
I would encourage others to apply to SSE because I believe that here you can do much more than studying. There are a lot of different ways in which one can learn. SSE offers many different opportunities that I don’t think are very common in other universities.
Here you can cultivate your interests and passions, promote ideas, share opinions with people from all over the world and create a great network of companies.
3. What tips do you have for prospective students?
I reckon that the most important thing to think about when choosing a Master's Degree is to consider what your passions and interests are.
It’s important to choose a program that is interesting and challenging at the same time, a program where one can express all of his/her potential.
A student should think about which exams or projects he/she enjoyed the most during the Bachelor’s and look for a Master's that allows a deeper analysis of those topics.
I also believe that it’s very useful to visit the University if possible and/or talk to students (maybe from the same nationality) that are currently doing the same Master: they are usually very happy to share their experience.
