Warmest of welcomes to our new blog!
We are the first cohort of the Karl-Adam Bonnier International Fellows Program for 2017-2019.
But does this mean? What is Karl-Adam Bonnier International Fellows Program, or KAB IFP, as we say? The program is a collaboration between the K-A Bonnier Foundation, the Stockholm School of Economics and the National University of Singapore. Four students each year get the opportunity to study one year in Sweden and one year in Singapore and then receive separate master's degrees from the respective schools. The program also includes an internship in the Nordics or in South East Asia, a membership in an alumni community, a mentor and a generous scholarship.
The program started in August and so far, we have really enjoyed it! Almost two months of studies at SSE have passed - it’s been intensive but we’ve already learnt so much! We’ve also met the foundation and started planning interesting activities, such as a kick-off with a panel discussion on topics related to the trade between the Nordics and South East Asia. Check out this facebook link to read more about the event and sign up: https://www.facebook.com/events/1603234323076128/
Finally, we will update this blog regularly during the upcoming two years and the following cohort of fellows will continue this tradition. Be sure to check in because we will share our experiences, impressions and any upcoming events. If you have any questions about the scholarship you can always contact any of us personally if you have any questions about the scholarship, studying at SSE and NUS or if you just want to have a chat - we are always keen to talk! :)
Have a great day!
