APPLICATION TIMELINE 2020

  • April 7: Submissions open for Topic draft
  • April 17: Submissions close for Topic draft
  • April 20: Feedback on Topic draft send out
  • Aug 1: Preliminary application opens
  • October 11: Preliminary application deadline
  • November 6: Final application deadline
  • Last three weeks in November: Interviews of selected candidates
  • Mid-December: Winners selected by President of SSE

HOW TO COME UP WITH A GELS PROJECT

  1. Pick a topic you are passionate about
  2. Pick a country that is relevant to your chosen topic
  3. Set a goal for what you want to achieve – change how something is done, introduce something new, improve something, the choice is yours! Just make sure it has a tangible end-goal.
