PREPARATORY COURSE IN MATHEMATICS
In the Stockholm School of Economics Bachelor Program in Business & Economics, the first year of studies includes two academic modules in mathematics. The first module is Mathematics A, and it covers an obligatory learning outcome for the course BE601 Data Analytics I, a course that runs (through the first teaching period) in the first semester. The second module is Mathematics B, and it covers an obligatory learning outcome for the course BE602 Data Analytics II, a course that runs in the second semester.
It is therefore a good idea to refresh your knowledge in mathematics prior to commencing to your studies.
Also, there will be a mandatory diagnostic test on general knowledge in basic High School mathematics on Thursday, August 20, at 08:00 - 09:45 am.
Therefore, we offer an intensive two-weeks Mathematics course prior to the compulsory introduction week. The purpose of this preparatory course is to provide you with a foundation necessary for the program.
Classes begins with a Welcome Mingle on Monday 10 August (13:15 - 15:00 pm) and runs until Friday 21 August. The times of the following days are: 10:15 - 12:00 am and 13:15 - 15:00 pm.
We strongly recommend you to attend this course if you can.
