international field trips
As an integrated part of the program, we do two to three international field trips. This means we bring the class room into new environments and contexts to enhance your learning. For us, a fundamental part of the education is the value of perspectives. Visiting different markets and applying theories and models in a variation of contexts is an essential part of learning.
Our program weeks in other locations combine lectures and company visits, and we visit other business schools and/or universities. For the program starting in January 2019 we are planning to go to Riga, Latvia, and our sister school SSE Riga, during program week 2, i.e. in March 2019. This will be done during the module The Business Context. For the second last program week, i.e. in March 2020 we plan to go to Hong Kong and China and visit Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). Company visits will be done both in Hong Kong and in Shenzhen mainland China. There might be a third international field trip, and the class that started this year will go to Silicon Valley this Fall, with a focus on International Marketing and International Strategy.
