HOw to apply
Submit your grades for recognition to the The Swedish Council for Higher Education. This government agency manages the majority of applications to higher education in Sweden. We do not accept any applications or documents directly to the Stockholm School Economics. After your qualifications have been evaluated, make sure your subjects and grade average corresponds with our entrance requirements.
You apply via Universityadmissions.se. For any questions about the application process, contact the University Admissions Support Centre.
The following application materials are required:
Upper secondary diploma, including
- Mathematics 3b or 3c (read more about the Math requirements here)
- History 1b
- Social Studies 1b
Grade point average corresponding 17,0 in the Swedish upper secondary system or IB average of 34.
Internet based Score of 20 (scale 0-30) in written test, total score of 90
An overall mark of 6.5 and no section below 5.5

English language test exemption
Upper secondary school diploma conducted completely in English
The assessment is based on your GPA and English test result.
