Gerhard Törnqvist's scholarship goes to Cecilia Cederlund

Cecilia Cederlund, Department of Marketing and Strategy, is rewarded with Gerhard Törnqvist's scholarship of SEK 5,000 for the best published paper by a SSE PhD student.

The paper must have been authored or co-authored by an SSE PhD student and published in a scientific journal during 2013 or 2014. The jury consists of the SSE PhD program directors.

The 2015 award goes to the paper "Managing Meaning in Complex Business Networks - Extending Van de Ven and Poole's (2005) typology of approaches for studying organizational change". The article was accepted for publication in Industrial Marketing Management.

The jury was particularly impressed that the article was a conceptual paper single authored by a PhD student in her first years of the PhD program. Furthermore, the jury commented that the article’s focus on complex business networks was in line with SSE’s mission as this is an area of increasing importance for Swedish business and society.

Congratulations!
