Development of the LYKO-app

Lyko had a workshop about how the firm can develop an app and what should be in it in order to attract customers/users.

The students in Entrepreneurship & E-commerce retail club met with Tom Törnblom, Communications & Sustainability Manager at Lyko, in their store in Mood gallerian. Tom gave an introduction to the company and how they run operations. After that the students were heading off for a workshop at the Lyco offices. Their task was to find ways to make a potential Lyko app efficient and ways to motivate customers to download the app.

The students presented their solutions in groups of four. A theme that multiple groups had was to put effort on the customer experience of the app and that implementation such as discounts, memberships and inspirational content, and a tailored experience could potentially increase the willingness to download the app.
