Sustainable consumption with H&M
The session began with a presentation of H&M’s sustainable work with regards to circular economy and current initiatives enforced by the company. The participating students were then asked to come up with actions H&M can take to encourage a sustainable consumption behavior while remaining profitable. Particularly, how can H&M encourage consumers to repair, reuse, remake, and recycle worn garments? Ideas presented by the groups included a Second hand Swapping Station and Green Ribbon (“Rosa bandet” but for sustainable consciousness).
