Supply Chain Management at H&M

H&M's Retail Club had a workshop about supply chain management.

H&M invited the students to a supply chain management workshop at one of their offices in Stockholm. The students within the H&M retail club were asked to solve a case in how to build the future European supply chain of their portfolio brands (Arket, COS, & Other Stories, Monki, Weekday).

Each group presented two solutions of how H&M could balance the service, cost, and cash using the triangle framework. In addition, the students were asked to explain the trade-off from each triangle and their impacts, considering the brands' specific positioning.

There were great discussions about the challenges and issues faced in supply chain management, especially when having 760 suppliers and 38 000 designed products yearly as H&M has. The workshop ended with fika-mingle together with the H&M-representatives.
