Erik Wetter to the Ministerial Programme at Mobile World Congress
Erik Wetter at House of Innovation and Misum has been invited as a speaker in the Ministerial Programme at the 2019 Mobile World Congress (MWC Barcelona) on February 26-28, where he will be discussing 'Insights for Innovation'.
MWC Barcelona is one of the world's largest conferences for the technology industry, featuring mobile operators, device manufacturers, technology providers, vendors and content owners from across the world. In 2018, over 100,000 people attended.
The Ministerial Programme is an invite-only event that brings together the most influential telecommunications leaders from across the world, convening industry CEOs, ministers, telecom regulators, data protection authorities and senior representatives of international organisations. In 2018, the event welcomed over 2,000 senior-level participants, including representatives from 181 governments and international organisations.
Other speakers in the Ministerial Programme include the UN Deputy High Commissioner for Refugees Kelly Clements, the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Maxim Akimov, the Chairman of the US Federal Communications Commission Ajit Pai, the Chair of the European Data Protection Board Dr. Andrea Jelinek, and Norwegian Minister for Development Nikolai Astrup.
