Vera Z. Eichenauer is a post-doctoral researcher at ETH Zurich in Switzerland. She works on international and Swiss political economy issues. Currently, she investigates the Chinese and Indian official financial flows to developing countries, the budgetary institutions reducing inefficient year-end spending spikes, and the consequences of the creation of the Canton of Jura.
Eichenauer's research interests are International Political Economy (with a focus on International Organizations, Development Economics (with a focus on Development Finance), The Politics and Economics of Switzerland and the Economics of Natural Disasters (with a focus on humanitarian aid).
