Carol Newman is a Professor in Economics at the Department of Economics, Trinity College Dublin. She is Chair of the Trinity International Development Initiative and co-founder of TIME (Trinity IMpact Evaluation Unit).
Her research is in the field of microeconomi cs of development with a focus on both household and enterprise behaviour. She is currently involved in a number of major projects in South East Asia and Africa. In the past she have also worked on microeconomic issues relating to the evolution of the agricultural sector in Ireland and the EU. More information about Carol Newman can be found on her website.
