This research seminar focuses on stigma in general and will also discuss the interface between stigma and corporate social responsibility. Several reseachers at Misum share an interest in stigma in relation to occupations and organizations typically NOT associated with stigma - stigma in relation to the financial sector and stigma in relation to CSR work.
We have invited Professor Bryant Hudson who will give a presentation on some of his recent work on stigma. Bryant Hudson is a Professor at the IESEG School of Management, Department of Management. His research interests are Business and Society/Social Issues in Management, Institutional Theory, Strategic Responses to Macro-Sociocultural Pressures, Strategic Responses to Organization-Level Stigma and Shame, Strategy and Implementation.
