Jean Pascal is currently visiting Misum as a Misum fellow for two months. He is undoubtedly one of the most renowned and productive scholars in the micro-CSR field and economic sociology. He has published in leading academic journals such as the Academy of Management Review, Business Ethics Quarterly, Business and Society, Economy and Society, Human Relations, Organization Science, Organization Studies, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Management Studies.
Frank de Bakker is professor of corporate social responsibility at the Department of Management at IÉSEG School of Management in Lille. He is mainly interested in institutional change, social movements/activist groups, business and society interactions, institutional entrepreneurship, corporate social responsibility, organization and organizing. Apart from being a co-editor for the journal Business & Society and having published in it extensively, Frank has recently published in other leading academic outlets, such as the Academy of Management Discoveries, Journal of Management Studies, Organization Studies and Journal of Business Ethics.

09.00-09.30: Paper presentation made by Professor Jean Pascal Gond
Focus: micro-CSR challenges and opportunities at the interface between sociology and psychology. Professor Jean Pascal Gond will devote 30 minutes to discuss his paper and explain the main challenges, shortcomings but also opportunities in the broader micro-CSR field going forward.
09.30 - 10.00: Open discussion on Professor Jean Pascal Gond’s paper
Short open session with questions from the audience on your paper (both PhDs and professors). During this discussion session, we will have the chance to pose questions and receiving answers in relation with Jean Pascal Gond’s paper and the micro-CSR agenda.
10.00-11.00: Expert discussion - Jean Pascal Gond, Mette Morsing, Frank de Bakker and Andreas Werr
Panel discussion on a list of few important topics within the micro-CSR arena. During this panel discussion, Jean Pascal Gond, Mette Morsing, Frank de Bakker and Andreas Werr will be given 2.5 minutes each to respond to a specific question on micro-CSR, before opening up to the rest of the audience. Each topic will be given approximately 20 minutes.
11.00-12.00: PhD workshop on micro-CSR
Discussion session for the PhD students on micro-CSR, including both psychological and sociological perspective. All PhD students will be asked to read a few papers in advance. This session, managed by Jean Pascal Gond and moderated by Frank de Bakker, hopes to stir new debates and stimulate the curiosity of PhD students on micro-CSR related issues. Part of the session will be devoted to research and publishing opportunities within the micro CSR field in more sociological and psychological journals.
