Misum at Stockholm School of Economics invites PhD students and post-docs from the wider Stockholm region to a full-day workshop on the topic: “How to make the most of my international research conference participation”. We will discuss the preparation of the paper, the selection of research conference, how to meet researchers and how to get into the programs, the networks and the activities yourself.
The morning aims at promoting skills to design and develop research papers for presentation at research conferences among PhD students and Post Docs in the broad area of sustainability. Misum invites young scholars to discuss research paper design and development as well as exchange experiences and ideas on how to make the most of your research conference participation. The workshop also aims to build networks and strengthen collaboration across institutions in the wider Stockholm region.
During the afternoon, three selected conference papers in the broad area of sustainability will be reviewed and discussed. These paper proposals will be selected and reviewed by Professor Mette Morsing and Professor Andreas Rasche, both from Misum. The conference papers can be in their early stages and do not need to be fully developed. Furthermore, there is the opportunity for a follow-up review on the three papers during November by Morsing and Rasche in order to meet the deadlines in January and early 2018 for submission to important international research conferences.
All PhD students and Post Docs are welcome to submit and/or participate in the workshop: the morning, the afternoon or both.
Please register here. Please submit your paper proposal to: firstname.lastname@example.org
