Misum and skandia invites you to a seminar on shared value
How can we understand and develop the ways companies invest and engage in major social issues? Is it possible to measure how social sustainability creates business benefits? Can you create both corporate value and social value in one and the same project? June 13, 15-17 in Bonnierrummet, Stockholm School of Economics, Sveavägen 65.

Welcome to discuss a recently launched research project at Misum at the Stockholm School of Economics on shared value in the real estate industry funded by Skandia's research foundations.
We have invited two international experts within CSR and shared value:
Marc Pfitzer, Managing Director FSG, a value-based foundation aiming to disseminate knowledge and best practice on shared value strategies, talks about shared value in the global perspective and provides a number of international examples of implementation in which he has been involved.
Robert Strand, Executive Director of the Center for Responsible Business at the University of California, Berkeley, has researched CSR in the Nordic region and will give us the Nordic perspective on shared value.
Susanne Sweet, associate professor and research leader at Misum, Stockholm School of Economics, will explain the new project and the issues that the research will address.
The seminar concludes with a panel discussion:
- Marc Pfitzer
- Robert Strand
- Mette Morsing, Professor of Sustainable Markets at Misum, Stockholm School of Economics
- Lena Hök, Sustainability Manager at Skandia, head of the Idea for Life Foundation and member of Sida's Board. Lena was appointed Sustainability Manager of the Year 2015, she was a speaker at Michel Porter's "Shared Value Leadership Summit" in 2016 and 2017, and is ranked ninth most powerful in sustainability in Sweden.
After the panel discussion, a mingle will follow in the library of the Stockholm School of Economics.
