Welcome to a seminar on business impact on children's rights with a focus on China and Southeast Asia.

Since 2009, Save the Children is operating a Centre for Child Rights and Business (CCRCSR) in China. The center has supported numerous businesses in different supply chains, and is today also operating regionally in Bangladesh, Myanmar, Malaysia and elsewhere. Take this opportunity to hear about concrete measures for risk mitigation and positive impact by business on children and their rights.
This includes recent developments in China, the textile sector in Bangladesh and Myanmar, gaps in an audit approaches, the Head Office approach to business and child rights, recent research and child rights in the sustainability agenda. You will hear from the Executive Director Ms. Ines Kaempfer, as well as from Save the Children’s Centre for Child Rights and Business in Europe, Business Social Compliance Initiative Sweden and Misum.
