Misum meets Andreas Duit
Welcome to the Misum seminar “The Environmental State: Patterns, Causes, and Capacity”, March 15th, Misum meeting room, eighth floor Holländargatan 32, 10.30 - 12.00
2016-03-15 at 10:30
Environmental problems are essentially failures of collective action. As the embodiment of collective action, the state is an inescapable part of their solution. Andreas Duit at the department of political science at Stockholm University has studied this issue from a number of different perspectives, both theoretically and through cross-national comparative work on environmental policy. His research is focused both on the organization of actors involved in the policy process, and the institutional structure of the state where their action is taking place. We look forward to an interesting seminar and discussion about these important issues.
Registration to the seminar is not required, everybody is welcome!
