MISUM Research Seminar with Professor Keith Perks
Welcome to "Sustainable Food Consumption" Research Seminar! November 3, Sal Gunnar, Holländargatan, 10.30-12.00
2015-11-03 at 10:30
We invite you to a seminar about sustainable food consumption with Professor Keith Perks of the Brighton Business School, UK. Professor Perks has explored consumer attitudes towards the consumption of red meat products. He found that while consumers considered the health risks of a meat based diet to be an important motivation to change their eating habits, they had less concern for the environmental impact, over which they had little control, and while there was concern for animal welfare which would inform their choices it would not motivate them to reduce their red meat consumption. Professor Perks will present his findings and invite you to a discussion of its implications for public policy and the environment.
Registration to the seminar is not required. Everybody is welcome!
