On March 10, MISUM Research Manager Joakim Sandberg will give a presentation to the Swedish parliament in a seminar on green investment banks.
The seminar – hosted by the Swedish Social Democratic Party, the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation and KPA Pension – aims to discuss the possibilities to establish a Swedish green investment bank in order to find better solutions to unemployment and climate issues.
United Kingdom established a successful green investment bank in 2012 and a leading representative for the bank will be present at the seminar. Associate professor Joakim Sandberg, who is a Research Manager at MISUM, will present a report about the effects of capital investments on the environment and the climate.
The seminar will mainly be held in Swedish.
