Management Seminar: Ostap Salovskyi & Martin Fougère
Ostap Salovskyi, PhD in Economics, is a lecturer at the Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU) and academic manager at UCU Business School. He previously led a research team at StartUs Insights and held visiting fellowships at the University of Alberta (Canada) and the Estonian Business School (Estonia). Alongside academia, Ostap works as a freelance research analyst supporting SMEs and policy consultants with data-driven insights on economics and business. His research interests include institutional economics and public policy, solopreneurship and freelancing, learning organizations and knowledge management, as well as case study teaching.
Salovskyi will visit SSE-HOI in person mid-November, and he has kindly agreed to participate in this seminar remotely before his arrival. He will present the paper “Solopreneurship: From Academic Definition to Economic Meaning”.
The second presenter of the seminar will be Martin Fougère. He is Professor in Management and Politics at Hanken, is interested in corporate responsibility, critical management studies, discourse theory, responsible management education, and social innovation policy. He will present an essay with the enticing title: “Making the wicked problems concept a part of the solution”.
