A Place in Europe: on wealth inequality and the role of art in society

Welcome to a seminar about one of the biggest challenges of our time, wealth inequality - how it influences society and what art can do about it. The seminar is based on the film sculpture "A Place in Europe", currently placed outside the entrance of the Stockholm School of Economics. We have invited SSE associate professor Jesper Roine, expert on income and wealth inequality, Stefan Jonsson, Professor from Linköping University who is researching how art and literature help us understand democracy, and the artists behind "A Place in Europe": Cecilia Parsberg and Erik Pauser.

Moderator is SSE researcher and teacher Emma StenströmAssociate Professor and Center Director for the Research Center for Arts, Business & Culture (ABC) at SSE.
