The Stockholm School of Economics arranges the annual Ohlin Lectures in order to honor the significant scientific achievements of Bertil Ohlin. This year’s lecturer is Pinelopi Koujianou Goldberg, Chief Economist, World Bank Group and on public service leave from Yale University, where she is the Elihu Professor of Economics. Professor Goldberg is one of the world’s leading scholars in the field of international economics. She is well known for her empirical work on the effects of trade policy on inequality, on intellectual property rights in developing countries and on international price discrimination.
