As a researcher from SSE you have access to proof-of-concept funding for research with commercial viability that you are working on. The funding is VFT-1 from Vinnova and is distributed through SSE Business Lab’s partner KTH Innovation. VFT-1 covers market analysis, prototyping, securing patents, building teams, travelling to meet with industry and much more. Over the next two years we are aiming to fund 100-150 projects through the VINNOVA VFT-1 funding program and I hope that yours will be one of them.
I would like to invite you to a lunch seminar for KTH researchers where Alper Aydemir, co-founder of the KTH spin-off Volumental, will talk about how his startup got off the ground and how the VFT-1 funding contributed to its success. We will also provide lots more information about the funding program and how it can help your research find its market and create impact.
Please join us on Thursday 14th December 11:30-13:00 at Lindstedtsvägen 24, 5th floor. A light lunch will be served.
