The Swedish Bank Research Foundation

The Swedish Bank Research Foundation supports academic research on financial institutions and markets.
Some grants take the form of personal scholarships for doctoral students for up to one year at a time and grants to cover certain expenses directly associated with the research. Supplementary grants to cover the cost of special resources essential to a particular project may be available under certain circumstances. Applications for these grants are made on a separate form. Travel grants for specific trips may also be considered.

In order to stimulate practically relevant banking research the Institute also welcomes grant applications from post-doctoral researchers and who conduct well-qualified academic research within the relevant research field, individually or together with other researchers, either doctors or doctoral candidates. In considering these applications the foundation prioritizes research that addresses questions and problems relevant to practical banking functions. Post-doctoral grants are awarded as personal stipends and as grants to cover certain expenses directly associated with the research. Supplementary grants to cover the cost of special resources essential to a particular project may be available under certain circumstances. Applications for these grants are made on a separate form. Travel grants for specific trips may also be considered.
