Anton Ahlén

Postdoctoral Researcher at the Center for Migration and Integration Research
Anton Ahlén is a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Migration and Integration Research (CMIR) at the Stockholm School of Economics.
 
His research focuses on migration policy, integration, welfare-state dynamics, and public attitudes toward migration. He received his PhD from Uppsala University in 2022 with a dissertation providing a comparative analysis of family-migration policies across advanced democracies, and was awarded the Maria Ioannis Baganha Distinguished Dissertation Award by IMISCOE in 2023.
 
He has previously held a postdoctoral position in political science at the Department of Government, Uppsala University, and worked at the Swedish Migration Studies Delegation (Delmi).
