Apply for a fee waiver to the GMAT exam

Stockholm School of Economics is keen on providing access to graduate management education for diverse candidates. We therefore would like to offer a GMAT exam waiver to assist economically disadvantaged candidates. Have you been planning and preparing for taking the exam lately? This is your chance to get the exam for free and apply to SSE’s MSc programs for the next intake.

You will be able to fill out the form and apply for a GMAT fee waiver starting June 1, 2026.

In your application, we ask that you explain how taking the GMAT would help you achieve your future educational and career goals, and describe your current financial situation. Please also note that you are expected to establish a meaningful connection with SSE prior to applying for the waiver — for example, by attending and actively participating in our webinars or events, or by demonstrating interest in applying to one of our MSc programs.

Conditions for using the waiver: Candidates must register for and take the GMAT exam in conjunction with the 2027 MSc intake, establish a meaningful connection with the school, and submit proof of exam preparation. We currently offer waivers for both test center delivery and the GMAT online exam. Fee waivers are awarded on a rolling basis. You may be invited for a short interview and will be notified via email.
