Grosshandelssocieteten Scholarship Recipient Reunion & Networking Event

As a former recipient of a scholarship from Grosshandelssocieteten during your studies at SSE, we warmly invite you to an informal networking reception with drinks and canapés back at SSE.

Join us for an evening of insightful exchanges and valuable networking with fellow Alumni. We look forward to hearing about your journey and the adventures you’ve had since graduation!

You will also have the opportunity to meet and engage with Caroline Rosén, a former scholarship recipient who is now a Senior Advisor and private investor in early-stage companies. She is a co-founder of the angel network DHS Venture Partners.

Caroline’s scholarship took her to Tokyo in the early 1980s, where she became the only non-Japanese employee at Nihon Tetra Pak. During the evening, she will share how her experience in Japan, including a meeting with a former kamikaze pilot in the Japanese Alps, helped shape a career that spans multiple roles, industries, and challenges.

A formal invitation with more details will follow in August.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Grosshandelssocieteten and SSE

Stockholms Grosshandelssocieteten has a deep historical connection with SSE, playing a crucial role in its founding in 1909 and continuing to offer support through various scholarships. The Foundation has consistently provided scholarships for SSE's exchange programs at both Bachelor's and Master's levels, granting approximately 70 scholarships in 2024. Additionally, the Foundation collaborates with the SSE Business Lab, funding an annual scholarship for entrepreneurship and presenting the Lilla and Stora Gross awards as part of the SSE Business Lab Ideate program.
