SuRe at Stockholm School of Economics, af Jochnick Foundation, Stockholm Environment Institute and Stockholm Resilience Centre organize a one day forum on Sustainable Business in a Sustainable World.

Susanne Sweet was hosting the Mistra Future Fashion stakeholder meeting where project researchers, partner corporations and organisations presented and discussed the research and expectations on outcomes of the research program.

"Mistra future fashion" is an interdisciplinary research programme concerning sustainable fashion (clothing, shoes and textile accessories). The aim is to contribute to systemic change towards a sustainable society, find novel ways of substantially reducing fashion’s environmental impact and strengthen Sweden’s future competitiveness.

Lin Lerpold was a facilitator at the seminar "Reshaping Financial Markets to make them more relevant to the poorest of the poor". The seminar took place at the Swedish Parliament in Stockholm on August 20 and was organized by the Ministry of Finance and Sida, among others.

SSE proudly presents SSE CSR Award

Lin Lerpold has together with SSE Corporate Donor Relations been an instigator of the SSE CSR award 2010, which is an essay competition for SSE students focusing on strategic CSR. Lin was also a jury member together with the SSE President and representatives from Unilever and WWF. The competition will be launched on April 12. Sara Nordbrand has completed her part within the research project on human rights an,d supply chain management. We thank her for her valuable contributions and for the friendship over the past year. Best of luck to your new job on responsible investments at the Swedish Church.

2009 - 2010

From March 2010

SuRe welcomes Sara Nordbrand as a research assistant! The coming year Sara will work together with Björn Axelsson, Lin Lerpold and Emma Sjöström in a research project on human rights and supply chain management. Sara has a background in journalism and political science and has worked with CSR issues for the last six years. As a researcher at Swedwatch she focused on responsible supply chain management within the electronics sector and also on companies operating in conflict zones and fragile states.

Starting March 2010

Laurence Romani will be a guest researcher at the Rotterdam school of Management in the Netherlands. Laurence hereby leaves SuRe after two years of research in the project led by Lin Lerpold on Microfinance and poverty alleviation. Thank you for the good time Laurence and good luck in Rotterdam!

From February 2010

SuRe welcomes David Rönnegard as a guest researcher! Rönnegard is specialized within CSR, a field in which he holds a PhD degree from the London Schools of Economics and has experiences as a management consultant. Rönnegard has recently completed a two year post-doc at INSEAD where he focused on researching political and moral justifications for CSR.

Starting August 2009

Ingrid Sigzelius will be a PhD student at the Stockholm School of Economics. Welcome!
