Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Creation

Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Creation

The Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Creation was established at the Stockholm School of Economics in 2001, based on a donation from Familjen Stefan Perssons Stiftelse.

Professor Carin HolmquistThe aim of The Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Creation is to increase understanding and knowledge of entrepreneurship and business creation. The goal is to contribute to the research field of entrepreneurship in general and the research on creative processes in particular by an explicit focus on the process as such and on the core of this process - creative action where the actor is essential.

Empirically, emphasis is put on creative processes leading to economic change on all levels, from the individual level to the societal level.

Also, we find it very important to transfer our knowledge to actors outside the research field. E-street activities make that possible.
