Center for Innovation and Operations Management

These are the dynamics of technological development and technology strategies, management of product development and innovation processes, and production strategies and management of production systems. The research programme has an interdisciplinary and applied managerial orientation. Much of the research is carried out in close co-operation with industrial and other organisations, over long periods of time. Most projects have a clinical research approach where we actively take part in the change processes.

Projects are often conducted in collaboration with the Institute for Management of Innovation and Technology (IMIT), a research organisation network, linking researchers at major universities in Sweden. One of the founders is Stockholm School of Economics. One important goal is to build interdisciplinary research of mutual benefit to the academic world and industry, through results that creates profitable improvements in practice as well as important contributions to academic knowledge.
